Our beloved Internet, Three days have passed since the last video demonstrating features of our Android port for TouchPad. But this has been so much fun, why not one more? Let’s get crazy! As you can see, we’ve been hard at work this weekend 
To those clamoring for an alpha build, a reminder: Just because we can hack together something for a demo doesn’t mean it’s ready to be tested by the masses. Behind the scenes, things still aren’t as reliable as we’d like and/or may only work in a limited set of circumstances. So stay patient, and remember– no asking for ETAs. Since you are asking…I still have a few questions. The sound is fixed? Microphone works too? If so , im install CM9 right now! (is the site offline right now? i can’t access it..)
This is a known issue. Happens when the screen is off only and only when you have the volume at the max. Just drop the volume a notch or two and it’ll go away.
Any particular reason why you have not migrated to CM9-based release?
Love your vids and everything surrounding the TP and Android. My question is what build or rom are you running? Because the sound on mine (update-cm-7.1.0-tenderloin-a3.5-fullofbugs) has the sound issue unfortunatly this is the only thing drawing me away from using android only. When it works and doesnt crackle or pop or go away it sounds amazing…Any help would be really appreciated! Cheers!

asphalt is not working on my dell streak phone……and i also updated 2.2 anroid froyo then also it was not working….could u plz. tell how can it works

Usually you would have to download the roms (games) from your PC. I would do this so I could scan for viriuses, but they are not common and is due to my over protectivity of my crap ^_^ But yeah, I found an app where you can download many roms for different emulators for free. But anyway, the emulators are on Android Market
I reccomend ‘Gensoid Lite’ as it DOES have a save feature, even though the Market says it doesn’t.
Awesome. I’m getting my Streak in a little over a week. I do have one question about the emulators (gensoid, nesoid, and snesoid in particular.) Can I download them from whatever shop thing the phone has? Or do I have to download them on my PC and then make a manual transfer? Thanks in advance.
hi.. nice amazing video. . so i have a dell streak but the games shows in black, only the sound is available and the graphics are in black, just a few graphic details shows in color, but all is black.. the game brothers in arms.. thank you..

Yeah, it runs much better on 2.2, I would recommend Need For Speed over Asphalt though!
may i ask? why when you play it… have some lagging in there? didi u play it just with 1.6 (donut)?

Try rebooting your phone. I sometimes have this problem with my iPhone 3GS and once I turn it off and turn it back on games play much better.
I have a iPhone 3GS and some games are jerky but if I turn of the the iPhone 3GS and turn it back on games play with no problems. Sometimes you just need to reboot the iOS to clean out all the junk in the ram.
I’m using Streak 1.6. But I dunno why once i play Asphalt, it hangs a lot and really lag. tho ur gameplay was lag, mine is even worse.

It does with the 2.1 update that’s about.
does it support multi touch on other apps?
The lag is also affected by what else is running in the background. Unlike iPhone, Andoird can multitask, and other apps can eat up memory. Best idea before loading an intensive game is to Taskill everything – music player, amazon, broswer, ebuddy/fring/etc, calendar. It’ll free up enough to really make it very, very smooth.
I too can’t wait for 2.2, my Streak is all pre-loaded with ROMs ready to go!
about what you said on apps fitting screens. it is to do with resolution not screen size so an app at 800 by 480, which is the res for the streak and the desirem will look the same on both devices even though the streak has a 5 inch display and the desire has a 3.7 inch display.
apart from that good video i wanted to see how it could cope with games even though running 1.6
