No time for chit chat, lets get to it: today Max and Tara run down the week in reviews thanks to Jim Sterling, talk about the Capcom/Splosion Man debacle, realize the reality of the Dreamcast Collection, and rant about the stupidity of Bulletstorm. Also, the DESTRUCTOID HOTLINE IS NOW LIVE! See below for details. Story #1 – Android getting a Games-On-Demand service. www.destructoid.com No details on the games that will be available, but this means nothing but good news for us Android gamers. What titles do you hope we’ll get? Story #2 – Capcom Rips off Splosion Man. www.destructoid.com Remember that XBLA game we all loved, Splosion Man? Well it turns out Capcom Mobile liked it so much that they made a carbon copy. Story #3 – Dreamcast collection confirmed for 360 and PC. www.destructoid.com Games like Crazy Taxi, Bass Fishing and MORE hits from the Dreamcast Era finally making it to this generation. Story #4 – 3DS may also be region locked. www.destructoid.com Another unconfirmed 3DS story, but one that is just as painful: rumor has it that the 3DS will be region locked, meaning you’ll need a Japanese 3DS to play Japanese games, and so forth. Thanks bud, funny thing about Max shitting on Bullet Storm is it wasn’t driven by Cliffy B, he’s just promoting it because Epic is co-publishing the game for people can fly. Regardless there’s a demand for everything, even if it’s guilty pleasure.

Cliffy is important in the industry?
Holy shit I’ve never laughed so hard. In what way has Cliffy revolutionised anything in the industry? If anything it’s Locki Wedgwood and the guys at splash damage that are revolutionising shit with Brink, with the SMART system. It’s those who are making games that are changing the industry bit by bit, improving it, that are important. Not people like Bobby Kotick or Cliffy, who do nothing but recycle garbage.
They are professionals creating for consumers. They have codes to abide by. They SHOULD also be polite, like any good human being, and moreso as someone in a spotlight. Max’s rant was pathetically immature and he essentially just attacked someone very important in the industry. I hope Cliffy does punch him; it’s deserving.

I’d like to see what Max considers “game”. I’ve seen stupid people use arsine logical to support malnourished claims. I’ve never liked the “It’s my opinion! Accept it!” argument unless there is logic holding it up.
My guess: He’s trying to be Jim Sterling by making some outrageous claim to get fans. When Jim makes claims, he thoroughly explains his points with logic and intellect. Max has done neither and pretty much seems like a douche, no different than a halo fanboy.
