great review but you didn’t mention about the battery . The battery is very easy to replace. This is a great tablet
lol….YOUR an idiot. if your so obsessed with typing with your thumbs, switch to the thumb keyboard. @peepopo236 is so right….is this your first time holding a tablet? because its deffinately not a phone
I’d like to know whether the toshiba thrive can be rooter or tethered on a wifi mode and I also understand that the battery can be replaced anytime opposite to any other tablet.
I really liked your review. I watch a lot of reviews, and this was one of the most relaxing easy to understand reviews I’ve seen.

Very nice review but the thrive got bluetooth 3.0 not 2.1
I have a question, I bought 3 movie digital copy and I saved them on a usb flash 8 gb drive but for some reason I can play those movies on any pc or laptop but when I try to watch the movie on my tablet it says movie not support it why? any idea I used the default program on the tablet amen I can play pictures and music of my usb but the movie nothing

@chucholetsm8one I had an ipad and i sold it. I recomend you to buy the thrive or wait and buy the asus transformer prime
@peepopo236 agreed… also there are free keyboard apps which allow for thumb typing when in landscape so the negative argument made about the width of the tablet is negated
I need to decide which tablet to get. Ipad 2 or this one seems to be ok. any suggestions??
my thrive never got hot from flash or anything else. of course it gets warm from charging not drastically hot
does this have or can you download microsoft word processor, or any type of word processor. also photoshop??
Does it support an internet stick?
can this play 1080p movies?
do you recomend this for a 11 – 14 yr old

THE TABLET’S NOT TOO WIDE…YOU’RE THE ONLY PERSON I HAVE SEEN THAT TYPES WITH HIS THUMBS…IT’S NOT A SMART PHONE…=)
